My Loc Journey – Pipe Cleaner Set

Hey Guys!!!

I know I’m back a little quickly but I had to share that I decided to color my locs.  I was getting so tired of the blonde that was in there.  It was making my hair look dual and I was feeling dual (if you can understand that).  So, I decided to spice it up and add some COLOR to my life lol.  I was going for a red/reddish color but what I got was burgundy.  I actually LIKE the color and think it brings out my face more.

In addition to changing my color, I also tried pipe cleaner set.  Now, a pipe cleaner set is setting or rolling your hair with pipe cleaners to achieve a spiral curl set.  It’s fairly easy and after viewing this YouTube video, I like my results 🙂

Feeling myself!!!  Even when I think or feel that I can’t, God makes it possible!  Been dealing with a lot after my grandmother being admitted to the hospital, then released to a rehab center to learn to walk, and now living with my mom and dad and they aren’t equipped to take care of her and her needs because they are aging themselves.  It’s been difficult to concentrate or focus and its truly GOD that has helped me get through this tough time.  Even after submitting 3 assignments weeks late, my professor still gave me full credit.  That along with her encouraging words, makes obtaining my degree worth it all.  It’s not often that you have a professor that is compassionate, understanding, and encouraging – I’m truly lucky for her and also for taking the class.  It’s exposing me to being a better communicator and overall better person professionally.  In saying all of this…..never give up and keep striving and when you think there aren’t people who notice, there really are paying attention. 🙂

I’ve been thinking of a new element to add to my blog.  I’m constantly trying to find ways to keep you guys interested and coming back.  I appreciate everyone who has ever stopped by, liked a post, started following, or left a comment.  I can’t say it enough but it means so much to me and I hope that you continue to support me 🙂

“The Meaning” according to PryncesSyndrome* is a new idea that I’ve come up with.  I take words and I generate my very own meaning.  Words are fascinating and their meanings are intriguing.  How cool it was for me to play around with their meanings and give my own interpretation.  Well, here are my findings and I would like to share them with you.  I hope you enjoy!!
